Sudan: More than a dozen casualties are being reported in protests in Sudan which started yesterday. Sudan’s professional bodies and political parties had called for protests on Wednesday. In Khartoum, Omdurman, and other cities, security forces fired at protesters leaving more than a dozen killed and several hundred injured.
Sudanese professional bodies and political parties have been protesting since October 26 when Sudanese army chief Abdul Fattah Al Burhan staged a coup and removed civilian Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok.
International Community is calling upon the Sudanese military not to use force against the protesters who demand the restoration of PM Abdullah Hmadok’s government.
