Tigray Ethiopia News: Mass arrests of the person of Tigrayan ethnicity is being reported in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Yesterday UN Humanitarians officials said that 16 UN aid workers of Tigrayan ethnicity had been arrested by Ethiopian government security forces in the Ethiopian capital. Later Ethiopian police released 7 humanitarian workers. The Ethiopian government is detaining Tigrayans in Addis Ababa to prepare for the advance of Tigray forces towards this city. There are fears that some residents of the city could support Tigray fighters.
