Ethiopian police this morning arrested another journalist. Meaza Mohammed was arrested from her home. Meaza is the founder of Roha TV which is a YouTube channel.
The arrested Ethiopian journalist was critical of some policies of the Ethiopian government. She has been calling for the return of students to schools. The Ethiopian government last week closed schools and urged students to help with farmers’ harvesting operations.
She is the 3rd Ethiopian journalist arrested in almost a week. Earlier Eyasped Tesfaye and Tamerat Negera were taken into custody by Ethiopian police this week.
