Ethiopia Tigray war: Latest news from Amhara and Afar regions indicates that the Tigray forces, despite several attempts, could not make significant gains in the Afar region to reach the Ethiopia-Djibouti road. Instead, Tigray forces have been pushed back from Kasa Gita town towards Bati.
In the North Shewa Zone of the Amhara region, Tigray forces and Oromo Liberation Army fighters have advanced and now they are in control of Majete town. TDF and OLA forces are claiming to be in control of Ataye town but the overall situation around Ataye town of north Shewa town is fluid.
