Talk of US military intervention in Ethiopia is detached from reality on the ground. Neither the Ethiopian government nor the Tigray government is going to accept US military intervention in Ethiopia at this point in time. Both are hoping to end this war militarily soon. Having said that, it is very much clear that warring factions in Ethiopia cannot resolve their problems on their own. They are holding very rigid positions and are unlikely are to be reconciled.
For a political solution to the Ethiopia-Tigray conflict, there should be a broad international effort. US, EU, UN, AU, Middle East, Russia, and China should join hands to bring warring parties to the table.
