Ethiopia: Tigray forces unable to advance towards Ethiopia-Djibouti road

Ethiopia: Tigray forces, which announced their advance a week ago from Bati and Chifra towns towards strategic Ethiopia-Djibouti road, have not made any significant gains so far. Afar forces and militias have stopped TDF’s advance towards Mille town situated on strategic Ethiopia-Djibouti road. According to most sources, fighting is going on in and near Kasa Gita town in the Afar region. Despite a renewed push yesterday from Tigray Forces, battlefield positions are almost the same. Ethiopia-Djibouti road, which passes through the Afar region, is the lifeline of the Ethiopian economy.
