Tigray news source, DW TV, has shared a video clip claiming to be showing an Ethiopian Mi-35 attack helicopter shot down in the Afar region of Ethiopia.
Yesterday Getachew Reda, Tigray President’s spokesperson, shared this claim on Twitter that Tigray forces had shot down a gunship helicopter of the Ethiopian air force on Mille front.
Mille is situated on Ethiopia-Djibouti road. Tigray regional forces have been trying to advance towards the strategic road for several weeks. Ethiopian and Afr regional forces claim that they have repelled the TDF attack on Mille.
In the video clip, a helicopter can be seen shot down. It seems that the helicopter was shot down by a MANPAD ( Man-Portable Air Defence System ). Tigray forces are in possession of several IGLA MANPAD.

Mr. Sajid in your previous video reporting about shooting down of MI- 35 helicopter you clearly mentioned to your viewers that it is a claim by Getachew Reda and still there is no visual evidence and the video shown intially by Tigray supporters was fake. In your last video you confimed after showing us the true video. This is not the first time that they slam you and accuse you of supporting TPLF. Whenever you are reporting any claim by either side your clearly tell your viewers whether it is confimred by independent sources or visual evidence or not.. They will keep on slamming you but ignore them and go ahead you are doing very professional and impartial reporting.
