Ethiopia: Fighters from the Tigray region and Oromo Liberation Army members have taken control of another town in the Amhara region. According to Tigray Central Command, TDF & OLA have captured Shewa Robit town which is situated in the North Shewa Zone of the Amhara region.
Tigray forces have been trying to advance towards this town for the past few days. After taking control of Senbete town in Oromia Special Zone of Amhara region, TDF & OLA started moving towards Shewa Robit a week ago.
Tigray forces and OLA fighters have announced that they will keep on advancing towards the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to remove Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmad from power. Ethiopian National Defence Force and Amhara militia members withdrew from the town last night and no fighting took place inside the town.
