Addis Ababa Hotels Offer Irreecha Discounts

Hotels in Addis Ababa will offer discounts of up to 40% for guests attending the annual Irreecha holiday. This initiative is voluntary and not mandatory for all hotels.

Last week, the Addis Ababa Culture, Art, and Tourism Bureau requested a list of participating hotels from the Addis Ababa Hotel Owners Association, which includes 170 members.

Mrs. Aster Solomon, the association’s president, explained that hotels often offer holiday discounts to attract visitors. She noted that the discounts for the Irreecha holiday may not be as significant as some expect. In response to the association’s request, several hotels have announced they will offer package deals with discounts.
