The Addis Ababa Fire and Disaster Risk Management Commission has announced that the fire that occurred on May 22, 2024, in the area of Addis Ababa Bole Airport has been completely brought under control.
The fire did not cause any problems at the Addis Ababa airport. Bole International Airport is running smoothly and the airlines are still operating on schedule, without any delays or cancellations due to the fire incident.
Ethiopian Airlines issued a statement in this regard to reassure everyone that the airport is safe and the situation is under control. The fire did not impact the airport.
