Federal Police of Ethiopia Launches EFPApp

Today the Federal Police of Ethiopia launched citizens participation application called EFPApp in collaboration with the Institute of Artificial Intelligence.

EFPApp is a digital application that allows people to report crimes to the Federal Police of Ethiopia in a fast and easy way. People can attach videos, pictures, documents, and location to their report, and also track the status of their report online. With Crime Reporter, citizens can help the police fight crime.

At a ceremony organized in Addis Ababa this evening, the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy launched the Application. Prime Minister was accompanied by Temesgen Tiruneh, Deputy Prime Minister.

Launch of EFPApp is part of Digital Ethiopia strategy that is being implemented to provide basic services to citizens. Over the past six years, the federal police of Ethiopia has shifted from analogue to digital system. EEPApp is available on both Apple App Store and Android Play Store.
