Registration Through the Mobile App

• The first way to register for Telebirr is through a mobile app. You can download and install the Telebirr app.
• After the installation, the next step is to choose an option to create an account.
• The next step is to enter your mobile number and you will get a digit verification code via text. Enter the code and verify your mobile number.
• After the verification of your mobile number, you need to fill in the information page including title, ID card, ID type, name, gender, date of birth, and language.
• After submitting the required information you will receive a default PIN via SMS and you will have an option to create a new PIN for activation.
• After creating a PIN and accepting the terms and conditions, you will receive the SMS that you can log in and start using the Telebirr.

Registration Through USSD

• To register for Telebirr using USSD, the first step is to dial *127#.
• Select the option of registration.
• The next step is to type your name and date of birth.
• After entering the information, you will receive a PIN via SMS.
• Dial *127# to activate your account and enter your default PIN which you received via SMS.

Registration Through Telebirr Agent

You can also complete the process of registration with the help of a Telebirr agent. You can visit your nearest agent and ask for the registration.
