The Commercial Bank Ethiopia (CBE) has denied damage to its clients’ documents. CBE issued a statement in this regard.
One of CBE’s branches was hit by fire in Addis Ababa this week. The huge fire engulfed scores of properties in Mercato. The bank in a statement said that customers’ documents did not suffer any damage.
However. following the fire accident, the Shema branch of CBE will not provide services for an indefinite period of time, according to the bank’s information. The Shema branch customers will be served by the new city branch and other nearby branches.
