Fighting is being reported in strategic Kobo town of the Amhara region. Amhara militias are organizing locals against Tigray forces. Though Tigray forces have been in control of Kobo town for months, several attempts were made by Amhara forces and Ethiopian federal troops to retake Kobo town. Once again, Amhara militias, Fano fighters, and locals are fighting back to push TDF out of Kobo town. Meanwhile, UN Security Council has, in a statement, called for the cessation of hostilities, negotiated ceasefire, and the start of inclusive dialogue.
