Facebook removes PM Abiy’s post | OLA says more than 1000 Oromia govt soldiers have defected

Facebook or Meta has removed a post shared by Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmad. The post called upon Ethiopians to rise and ” bury the rebels”. In another development, pressure is building upon the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa as OLA and TDF are heading towards the city. OLA spokesperson, Oda Tarbii, claims in a Twitter post that 1165 Oromia Special Forces Soldiers have defected and 400 out of them have joined OLA near Laga Tafo which is in the outskirts of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. The Ethiopian govt has not officially responded to this claim so far.
