The Oromia Cooperative Bank has announced that it is switching to digital banking and in this regard it has opened more than 200 smart branches across the country.
The new service introduced by the bank allows customers to access services in a paper-free way using tablets designed for this purpose.
The bank announced yesterday announced that its smart branches are a way of accessing services such as depositing, withdrawing and transferring money in a digital way, in a way that is different from the traditional paper-based operation.
Cooperative Bank of Oromia has been operational for over 19 years. With around 13 million account holders, it has established a network of over 750 branches nationwide.
