Ethiopian Airlines Launches Six Weekly Flights to Bangladesh

Ethiopian Airlines will launch six weekly flights to Dhaka, Bangladesh, starting November 1, 2024. The airline will operate these flights using the modern Boeing B787 Dreamliner for a comfortable travel experience.

These flights to Bangladesh will boost Ethiopian Airlines’ presence in South Asia. They will provide convenient connections between Bangladesh and key destinations across Africa and beyond. The schedule includes departures from Addis Ababa to Dhaka on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Return flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

In June 2024, Ethiopian Airlines inaugurated new domestic flights to Nekemte Gudina Tumsa International Airport in the Oromia region. The construction of Nekemte Gudina Tumsa International Airport was completed at a cost of 1.3 billion birr. This new route is operating four times per week, providing increased connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling to and from Nekemte.

Last week, Ethiopian Airlines announced that it will increase its weekly passenger flights to Chennai, India. Ethiopian Airlines shared that it will add an extra flight to Chennai, bringing its total to four weekly flights to this destination, which is now its fourth passenger city in India.
