Ethiopia: Ethiopian government is organizing a rally in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa tomorrow. According to Ethiopian government officials, “Tigrayans” will take part in tomorrow’s rally and the rally would be an ejection of Tigray People’s Liberation Front by common Tigrayans.
Ethiopian Federal forces and Tigray Regional forces have been fighting since November 2020. TPLF accuses Ethiopian and Eritrean forces of large-scale human rights abuses and atrocities against Tigrayans in Tigray and other parts of Ethiopia.
Will Ethiopian government forces force common Tigrayans to attend tomorrow’s rally? Will common Tigrayans in Addis Ababa attend this rally willingly?
Within the past three days, the Ethiopian government has organized rallies in Ethiopian capital Addis and Bahir Dar city against alleged foreign intervention in Ethiopia and against alleged international media’s support of Tigray People’s Liberation Front.
