Ethiopia: More than two dozen have been killed in airstrikes on Alamata town. The town is situated in southern Tigray. According to Tigray TV and other Tigray-backed news sources, a market in Alamata town was targeted by the Ethiopian air force today.
Tigray news sources say that around 28 were killed and more than 70 were injured in today’s airstrikes. Tigray Presidential Spokesperson Getachew Reda also confirmed in a tweet about the drone strike on Alamata town.
So far Ethiopian government has not issued any official statement in this regard.
Within the past few weeks, the Ethiopian government has not issued any statement about drones strikes on Tigray. Tigray leaders claim that civilians are being killed in these airstrikes and drone strikes.
