The CEO of Ethio Telecom has hinted that tariffs will be raised. The CEO, Frehiwot Tamiru, responded to a question about the tariff change on Thursday. The CEO was briefing the media about company’s plan for next year.
The journalist asked, ” Will Ethio Telecom continue without adjusting the tariff for customers?” The CEO said, “The company did not adjust the tariff because it wants its customers to adjust to new macro-economic changes. But she added, “We will have moderate price increases considering the ability of customers to pay. But it will not be applicable to all customers.”
